Welcome to the September issue of the Thermalair Newsletter.

Thermalair have enjoyed a very productive and rewarding month.

We have received orders for numerous air conditioning, ventilation and electrical installations.

One of our clients is a major operator of care homes, throughout the UK.

A very recent job in West Drayton, is the installation of air conditioning systems.

The job required a new distribution board and other electrical supplies, which Thermalair also took care of and recently commenced the installation and this will be completed earlier than scheduled.

Planned preventative maintenance is a big part of what Thermalair do.

An example being a recently awarded contract to carry out maintenance on air conditioning, heating and ventilation equipment at a college in Sidcup.

The mechanical maintenance contract is for three years and has already
reaped benefits for the client.

We have identified numerous issues, which when corrected,
will save the college significant sums of money in lowering running costs.

School completed.

Another example of what Thermalair are capable of doing is being flexible and accommodating.

We were asked to carry out an install, to a tight schedule, at a school in Ilford.

The installation of air conditioning and ventilation needed completing before children returned to school after the summer recess.
Thermalair achieved this, much to the delight of the client.

On 25th May 2018 the new General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) came in to effect. While there have been many scare stories about the new regulations in reality there is little change to how marketing is carried out. GDPR states that “the processing of personal data for direct marketing purposes may be regarded as carried out for a legitimate interest.”

However, the second regulation the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations which dovetails with GDPR and came into effect in January 2017 is designed to regulate how data is used to send information via electronic communication including instant and social messaging, VOIP, electronic mailshots and other direct communication methods to bring them into line with the laws on phone calls (cold calling), emails and SMS. The regulation states “it is reasonable to allow the use of e-mail contact details within the context of an existing customer relationship for the offering of similar products or services”.
