"BREAKING" THE MOULD

In this case it was not so much breaking the mould as cleaning it from the accumulated grease and scale that was blocking the water channels that kept it at operational temperatures. Using specialist degreasing and de-scaling chemicals in ultrasonic tanks Sonic Solutions managed to clean out all internal chambers and channels leaving a mould that was back to almost 100% operational efficiency as well as looking almost new. Our customer could then present their client with a completely refurbished glass mould operation at a fraction of the cost of a new line.

ULTRASONIC CLEANING OF CALORIFIERS AND HEAT EXCHANGERS.

In partnership with a leading UK supplier of ultrasonic cleaning equipment Sonic Solutions have launched a system specifically designed for cleaning parts used in gas central heating boilers and combi boilers.

Reduced flow or blockage due to magnetite or lime scale build up in the calorifier and heat exchangers is one of the biggest reasons for boiler failure in gas fired heating systems. This usually results in these costly parts being replaced as it is virtually impossible to remove the contamination.

The Sonic Solutions ultrasonic system and cleaning agents will successfully clean the inside of these units as well as diverter valves and associated pipework allowing the units to be re-fitted and normal flow to be returned.
