PUWER (Provision & Use of working equipment regulation)

In 1998 the Health & Safety executive introduce a Health & Safety standard to be applied to any type of moving or rotating machinery call PUWER (The provision & Use of equipment regulation) This regulation ensures that the operator and other employees are protected against injury from rotating parts, entrapment and ejection of materials whilst operating the equipment.

Comprehensive PUWER assessment reports are provided on completion of assessment with photgraphic evidence high lighting  none compliance  issues with pre and post risk assessment & risk reduction and PUWER recommendations.

Guard-Tech manufactures  and supplies any type of bespoke PUWER compliant safety guarding which our mechanical & electrical engineers install  which includes the electrical interlocking , fitting of  emergency stops and DC injection brakes which are wired through dual channel safety monitoring relays to comply with the PUWER regulations.
