Wishing you a very merry Christmas from all at Airedale Springs Ltd

2009 has, to say the least, been a challenging year. With the news focused on the recession for most of the year, many organisations will be glad that it's nearly over.

Following a record year in 2008 we have been able to adjust to these new challenges and with no small effort on the part of the whole team we have exceeded our targets for the year.

The year ahead could be as challenging as 2009, for many organisations however, it seems there are positive signs appearing, pointing to an increase in confidence as we move to a recovery.
We have planned for a recovery and we look to the future with confidence, continuing to invest in capital equipment and the people we employ.

The introduction of Lean Manufacturing in September continues to yield positive results. Our average delivery performance has improved from 81% in 2008 to 94% in 2009; by no means acceptable but better than we had hoped for. The introduction of new processes will continue into 2010 giving improved service to our customers and ready the organisation for the recovery when it does eventually arrive.

Airedale Springs is a family and like so many families we have lost a number of our members, at this time of year our thoughts and prayers go out to those families who have lost loved ones during 2009.

With the holiday season nearly upon us, on behalf of the whole of the team at Airedale Springs, I would like to pass on our very best wishes for a restful and enjoyable Christmas and a happy and prosperous New Year.
